Hi Everyone from Manhattan. Don’t worry these photos were taken pre-COVID-19 quarantine. It has been crazy, crazy times and it’s pretty surreal being in the epicenter of the Coronavirus in the United States. I have been in self-quarantine basically since I going back from Puerto Rico. Dani and I were so lucky we were able to get back. If it had been a few days later we would’ve been stuck there.
The restaurants all closed two days upon our return and the city quickly turned into a ghost town. Watching too much of the news gives me anxiety so I try to just read the major headlines of the day on my phone. Part of the anxiety is not just those infected with the disease and the thousands who have died from the disease, it’s all the small business that have been affected, the service people who have to file for unemployment and all the healthcare workers, delivery people, etc. who are fighting for us. It has affected everyone dramatically. This is going to be a scary week for our country, but come mid-month the curve will start to flatten.
To pass the time I have been working on a career project which will be out next month, cooking a lot (I find it so therapeutic), keeping in touch with friends and family (my parents call me nearly every day haha) and getting organized on things I’m really passionate about. How are you guys doing? How has COVID-19 affected you?
I love this preppy look featuring this letterman cardigan sweater (also love this one). You can also wear this with a great pair of jeans. These boots are so cute and they go with everythannnng! You can dress them up or down depending on where you are going. I’d imagine it’s from your bedroom to the couch at the moment, but hopefully, soon you’ll be able to wear them out.
