My last post from my recent trip to Portland Oregon! Every time I go there I always want to stop by the Rose Garden. It is so beautiful and overlooks the city. I wore one of my favorite new pairs of lace-up wedges to make my way up and down the roses. My floppy hat gets so much use, I wear it almost every day when I walk my dogs (I’m kind of a nut about sun protection, it’s my #1 beauty tip!). My off-the-shoulder top has a built-in bra which is great for staying cool in the summer. I brought my saddlebag to London and Paris and I have been continuing to pull it from my closet almost every day this summer!

I have to share what happened to me yesterday! I had kind of a Sex and the City moment but in the worst possible way! Remember when Charlotte and a guy she was dating were making breakfast in his kitchen and he jumped on a chair when he saw a mouse? Yep, that happened to me! Working on my laptop from home and when I went into my kitchen I saw a mouse scurry across the floor! I jumped on a chair and called a friend freaking out. My superintendent gave me mouse traps that are sticky (non-toxic because I have dogs). So far I haven’t seen it since so I’m not sure if it left through the tiny hole it came out of or if it’s still in here! If you city gals have any advice let me know! I’m in love with my new apartment and living in the city but this was a new first for me I never thought I’d have!!
